How to use the Lock Account feature

  • Updated

If you need to temporarily disable a user from logging into your Argus Tracking account (for example, due to privacy over a holiday period or perhaps while disciplinary action is being taken) there is a slide toggle in each user profile to temporarily lock this user from your account.

If you need to use this feature, follow the instructions below:

From the side menu, select Settings then Users and Drivers. The users and drivers page will open.

In the table, find the user you would like to lock out of the account. Click the edit box next to the applicable user.

The user profile box will open. Look for the Account Locked toggle found under the user's email box.

To activate it, click the toggle until it turns blue.

Scroll down to the bottom of the box and press the blue Save button to save your changes.

When you need to let this user access the account again, follow the instructions above, but instead click the toggle so it turns white, and then press the blue Save button.

From the side menu, select Settings then Users and Drivers, then click the delete box next to the applicable user.
