Understanding Check Sheet Question Types

When creating a Check Sheet template, you can choose from several question types. Some are smart fields that automatically update fields on the Compliance page. Below is a quick overview of each option.

Check Sheet Question Types

  • Yes/No/NA - Allows your team to select Yes, No or Not Applicable.
  • Yes/No - A simple Yes or No selection. 
  • Text Input  - Open field for any text, such as "damage to front bumper" or "worn tyre tread".
  • Dropdown - Create a custom drop-down menu for your team to choose from.
  • Odometer (Smart Field) - Automatically updates the odometer in Compliance, within a 5,000km threshold of the current reading. Anything outside of this range needs to be updated manually. 
  • Hubodometer (Smart Field) - Similar to the odometer field, this updates the hubodometer within a 5,000km threshold.
  • Hour Meter (Smart Field) - Automatically updates the hour meter field in Compliance.
  • Service - Distance (Smart Field) - Updates the service-distance field in Compliance.
  • Service - Hours (Smart Field) - Updates the service-hours field in Compliance.
