In July, our team have been working hard to bring you the newest features and enhancements tailored to optimise your Argus Tracking experience. Below are the specifics of these updates.
28 June - 12 July 2024 May
Battery-Powered Asset Tracker Request Form
Our battery-powered Asset Trackers now support 3 pings per day. The device management order form has been updated to reflect this enhancement.
Compliance for EVs and PHEVs
Smart Renew: We've officially enabled Smart Renew for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEVs). You can now order RUC licenses for these vehicles just as you do for diesel vehicles.
RUC Collect: EV and PHEV vehicles can now claim back off-road RUC charges through RUC Collect. Additionally, you can proceed with the RUC claim process without entering an off-road customer number if the 'First Claim' button is toggled on.
Spectate View History Updates
On the View History page, you can now filter the data below the Spectate Map by the information you want to see. Click on the blue filter button on the right-hand side of the screen (under the Spectate Map), select the data you want to see and click apply.
Additionally, you can use two new filters for this data: State of Charge (SoC) and Fuel Level/Battery Level, depending on whether your vehicles are EVs, PHEVs or ICE.
Please Note: These filters apply to the new GO9 tracking devices. For more information, please contact your Account Manager or our Support Team here.
Asset Tracker Alerts
We've added notifications for Asset Tracker alerts in the Argus Tracking Manager mobile app. Now, you can receive alerts when batteries are low or critical and need replacing. The low battery alert includes a link to our help center with instructions on replacing the batteries.
We're always looking for ways to enhance our platform to improve your experience. If you have any feedback on this month's updates or suggestions for improvements, we'd love to hear from you - please email product@argustracking.com.
